DC Community life is manifested through numerous activities, especially through a small group meeting called Cell Group and a large meeting named Inspire Young People.
The cell group is a small group meeting consisting of less than 12 people runs regularly on 2nd and 4th Thursday every month. Here, community members have the opportunity to share lives to each other, and to learn to understand God’s call in lives through the spirit of fraternity that shall grow stronger from time to time. Members’ presence in the cell group meetings are indeed an important part of the spiritual formation journey at Domus Cordis as through fidelity to attend the meeting regularly, each Cordisian learns to live the faithful love as how God has shown His faithful love to us.
This Cell group meetings is a means for Cordisians to learn to recognize God even more, not only through teachings or testimonies, but first of all through the attitude of the hearts that are eager to learn to love through attendance. Driving through Jakarta traffic jam amid tightly scheduled business need the spirit of sacrifice. This is not easy. However, a Cordisian remains attend the meeting, not with the attitude to get something, instead with the attitude of the heart that wants to give love for brothers and sisters in the cell group. This is the school of love. And Cordisians have proved that: Love is stronger than traffic jam!
Inspire Young People (IYP) is a community meeting which is also open to the public. Through this IYP, Domus Cordis wants to share fellowship with all attending young people while inspiring each other to have better choices in Christ.
